Want to trade lives?

I have had THE worst last three weeks. Seriously, almost unbelievably weird and screwed-up. Yesterday I took a break from it all (as much as I could) and I am taking another break right now. I need to retain at least a vestige of sanity, because the "fun" isn't over yet.

So that's why I didn't do the writing I had planned for May, or much of anything else either.

Right, onto a more positive topic. Early in May, I finally figured out how to burn DVDs. I know I said I was giving up, but I'm very stubborn and I kept at it anyway. Eventually found a program that wasn't impossible to understand, fiddled around with it, and sorted things out. More or less. Now, instead of not having a clue what I'm doing, I kind of know what to do. It's progress. :)

Yay for something gone right! My compy came with DVD burning software on it, saving me the hassle of hunting any down. It's not the best, but it's functional enough for my purposes. Perfect icon, btw. I too have slacked majorly in May, but not because of badness but due to my own indolence (and very savage, very obscure plot bunnies round every corner). Hope June goes better!

Yes, I definitely need something to go right because I keep getting all this crap piled on me that is dragging me down. Seemingly every time one issue gets resolved, another crops up. On the plus side, I decided to just take some time for myself every day to keep from getting really depressed. It's helping a lot.
