NaNoWriMo progress
Nov. 1st, 2008 08:16 pmIt sucks that the NaNo site has been down for so much of today, the first day of the challenge. I was able to briefly access it only a couple of times, to little use. I can't check the FAQ, go on the forums, or update my word count, which is discouraging. I did get in a decent amount of writing today, though. My goal is 2000 words a day and I just reached it:
2052 / 50000 words. 4% done!
I am going with the vampires and horse racing idea, which is vaguely kinda sorta plotted out. Please don't ask me for details. The working title is "Blood Bay" (a horse color and a vampire reference) and I wrote a prologue as well as a scene that introduces two of the vampires. Good enough for one day.
