Grey's Anatomy fic recs

I doubt more than a handful of people on my flist watch this show, but what the hell. I've been hunting for good fanfic and not finding much. So far, I have exactly one rec: Time Clock of the Heart, by yahtzee63, a lovely Denny-centric story set late in the second season.

GA apparently does not have a large central archive, aside from Fanfiction.net. Yeah, I went there. I wasn't expecting much and therefore was not disappointed. I also found an LJ comm that's fairly active, but a bit difficult to wade through.

If anyone has goodfic recs or suggestions on where to find any, please LMK. So far, I've located the following recs lists that I'm still checking out:

I'll look at anything, except I have a deep hatred for RPF. Favorite characters include Izzie, Bailey, Meredith, Denny, and Alex; would especially love anything centering around one or more of them, but I'd also be happy with quality fic about other characters. Shipfic, gen, whatever.

Hmm, I haven't read GA fic for a long time, since I stopped watching mid-season 3, but here are some of my old bookmarks, maybe you'll enjoy them too:

white picket fence and line of defense, Izzie/Denny shipfic, au post-s2;

7 Days to Change Your Life, Izzie/George, set in some nebulous period early in the show;

O'Malley's Anatomy, George gen, also set early in the show;

inhale/exhale, Bailey gen;

and you didn't mention Addison, but I liked reading about the Meredith/Derek/Addison/Mark mess, and I remember enjoying this one a lot: Sorry Seems to Be (The Hardest Word) . Addison, before the show, and in Seattle.

I used to really love Grey's (you sorta made me want to watch it again with that one post), but somewhere around mid-s3 I started to hate it madly for all that happened to George and Izzie. I kinda miss it, it was fun.

I write pretty much all Alex fics (mostly with Izzie and/or Meredith) if you are interested. Not saying they will blow your mind with their brilliance but, I don't think they are tooooo bad! They are all up at my journal.

I usually cross post at ga_fanfic (lj comm.) which is pretty active and not too bad to navigate. There are tags for each character/pairing/threesome etc so you can search that way or you can search by author...

Like you've already discovered, I wouldn't bother too much with FF.net, it takes too much effort to trawl through the dregs to find anything decent over there.
