Computer progress

ghost2Upon hearing that my computer had died, my mother came up with the brilliant idea of buying me a USED one. And apparently, shipping it to me, which would cost a small fortune. She meant well, but she knows little about computers and could easily have bought me something totally unsuitable. Besides, for the cost of a used (possibly well outdated) computer plus postage, I could buy a new one locally that suits my needs.
Which is exactly what I did today. It won't be delivered and installed till next Tuesday, but I've made it this long without one. Luckily, I had saved enough money over the last several months that I had enough to cover all the costs with a little left over.
It'll be great to finally be able to get online from home with a fast computer that can do what I want.
