ghost2I haven't been on LJ too much in the last week or so. I have to catch up on lots of posts on my flist. Oh, and I get to complain.
February was not the greatest month for me. Aside from the horrible weather, which basically kept me housebound, I had to deal with getting cheated by someone I thought I could trust. I don't like to lend money to people, but if I have good reason to believe I'll get paid back then I'll generally do it. This particular person had previously repaid a fairly large (for me, anyway) loan and many smaller ones. So I thought I was safe in lending more money back in January.
Nope. Said individual (who, I eventually found out, had lied about the reason for wanting the money in the first place) promised to repay me on Feb. 1, did not, dodged my attempts to collect repayment, and ultimately lied to my face that the money had been left in a place where I should have found it. The implication being that if I hadn't found it, it was MY problem.
Then this jackass had the nerve to try to beg another loan off of me about a week ago, and upon my refusal to whine that I had indeed been repaid the last time.
Oh, well. I now have perfect justification to deny ANY future loans of any size whatsoever, I know this person to be a disgusting and untrustworthy cheat and liar, and I am pretty pissed off. Not good for the enemy, as I have rather a bad temper and I hold grudges.
However, I can get compensation in a roundabout way and believe me, I will. When the weather is decent and I can get out more, I'll take care of things.
