Cherry Ames, and Demons
My Cherry Ames boxset from Amazon.com has arrived! Now I have something new to read. I started the first book, Cruise Nurse, today, but haven't had a chance to get too far into it. The weather is actually nice here (above freezing!) so I went out on my bike for a while.
Question for anyone who's watched Demons: I heard that it's really terrible. Is it the Twilight kind of terrible, where its very badness is fascinating? Or is it the boring kind of terrible, like Crusoe? Basically, will it entertain me?

(As for your questions, I have no idea. I've never seen the show.)

Someone on the anon meme created the icon. I figured it deserved one of my slots. :D

I'm just about to watch the last episode of the series. ;)
And yay for Cherry Ames! *suddenly realises you're not the person on my f-list I've been talking to about Cherry* Did you see the Cherry Ames icons I made a few weeks ago?

Trixie Belden has been my best loved series heroine since I was little. And I've got the gorgeous hardcovers with colored illustrations that are just begging to be made into icons.
If there are any other series you want icons of, let me know. I have a lot of girls series books of that vintage and older.

And I've only ever read one Cherry Ames book in my early teens. So long ago now D: I remember it was about a lost perfume recipe and one of the ingredients was something called Silver Lace and there was a bracelet in there somewhere as well. I rather enjoyed it :)

Before this, I'd read only one Cherry Ames book. It was entertaining. The one you mention, with "Silver Lace," is in my boxset (Boarding School Nurse).
